Danny joined the practice in autumn 2016 after graduating at the top of his class from the dogs trust in Darlington. Danny had previously been freelance (stray) in Stockton-on-Tees before going full time with the dogs trust, but was looking for a more permanent role. He is a deep thinker and is lightning fast. Danny was promoted to head of well being to reward his contribution to the office atmosphere.

Ben Elliott

Ben studied at the Manchester School of Architecture where he graduated with distinction. He has been actively involved with teaching alongside practice for over eighteen years, and has taught at Manchester University, Bath University and more recently as a director of architecture, programme leader and senior lecturer at Northumbria University. Ben worked with Ian Simpson Architects in Manchester before practising as a senior architect at the award winning Fielden Clegg Bradley Architects in Bath. He has designed and delivered multiple award winning projects across a range of scales and sectors from high profile commercial developments to significant cultural projects to small scale residential schemes.
Lynsey Elliott

Lynsey was educated at the prestigious Mackintosh School of Architecture in Glasgow and has maintained involvement with architectural education teaching as a visiting design studio tutor and critic at Sheffield University and Northumbria University. After graduating Lynsey worked initially with Ian Simpson before going on to form Bath based practice DesignScape. Her previous experience ranges from large scale commercial projects to small domestic extensions. Following a return to the North East Lynsey established elliottarchitects with Ben in 2007.
Alex Maxwell-Davies

Alex studied at Northumbria University for both his Master of Architecture and undergraduate degree, receiving a first class honours and an RIBA commendation for his final year project. His previous experience includes working at a range of prominent practices in Newcastle and Northumberland, where he gained experience on a range of project scales and sectors. Alex joined Elliott Architects in 2016 with a desire to work in a design and quality focussed practice with experienced, like-minded people.
