Danny joined the practice in autumn 2016 after graduating at the top of his class from the dogs trust in Darlington. Danny had previously been freelance (stray) in Stockton-on-Tees before going full time with the dogs trust, but was looking for a more permanent role. He is a deep thinker and is lightning fast. Danny was promoted to head of well being to reward his contribution to the office atmosphere.

Elinor Grant

Elinor completed her Undergraduate and Postgraduate degrees at Northumbria University, receiving a First class honours and Distinction respectively. During her Master of Architecture, she was nominated for the RIBA Dissertation Medal for her thesis exploring the changing nature of student housing. After working in a prominent commercial practice in Newcastle as a Part 1 Assistant, Elinor joined the practice in 2021 with a hope to specialise in residential architecture, creating beautiful and meaningful spaces in the place where they are most personal.
Alex Maxwell-Davies

Alex studied at Northumbria University for both his Master of Architecture and undergraduate degree, receiving a first class honours and an RIBA commendation for his final year project. His previous experience includes working at a range of prominent practices in Newcastle and Northumberland, where he gained experience on a range of project scales and sectors. Alex joined Elliott Architects in 2016 with a desire to work in a design and quality focussed practice with experienced, like-minded people. In 2023 Alex was promoted to Associate Director to acknowledge his contribution to the practice.
Lynsey Elliott
BArch(Hons) DipArch PG Dip ARB RIBA RIAS
Lynsey studied at the prestigious Mackintosh School of Architecture in Glasgow and has maintained involvement with architectural education as a visiting design tutor at Sheffield University and Northumbria University. After graduating Lynsey worked with Ian Simpson Architects in Manchester on several award winning projects before going on to form Bath based practice DesignScape. Her experience ranges from large scale commercial projects to small domestic extensions of the highest quality. Following a return to the North East, Lynsey established Elliott Architects Ltd with Ben in 2014.
