Ben studied at the Manchester School of Architecture where he graduated with distinction. He has been actively involved with teaching alongside practice for over twenty five years, and has taught at Manchester University, Bath University and more recently as Director of Architecture at Northumbria University in Newcastle.
Ben worked with Ian Simpson Architects in Manchester before practicing as a senior architect at the award winning Fielden Clegg Bradley Architects in Bath. He has designed and delivered multiple award winning projects across a range of scales and sectors including high profile commercial developments, significant cultural projects and small scale residential schemes.

Elinor completed her Undergraduate and Postgraduate degrees at Northumbria University, receiving a First class honours and Distinction respectively. During her Master of Architecture, she was nominated for the RIBA Dissertation Medal for her thesis exploring the changing nature of student housing. After working in a prominent commercial practice in Newcastle as a Part 1 Assistant, Elinor joined the practice in 2021 with a hope to specialise in residential architecture, creating beautiful and meaningful spaces in the place where they are most personal.

Alex studied at Northumbria University for both his Master of Architecture and undergraduate degree, receiving a first class honours and an RIBA commendation for his final year project. His previous experience includes working at a range of prominent practices in Newcastle and Northumberland, where he gained experience on a range of project scales and sectors. Alex joined Elliott Architects in 2016 with a desire to work in a design and quality focussed practice with experienced, like-minded people. In 2023 Alex was promoted to Associate Director to acknowledge his contribution to the practice.

Lynsey studied at the prestigious Mackintosh School of Architecture in Glasgow and has maintained involvement with architectural education as a visiting design tutor at Sheffield University and Northumbria University. After graduating Lynsey worked with Ian Simpson Architects in Manchester on several award winning projects before going on to form Bath based practice DesignScape. Her experience ranges from large scale commercial projects to small domestic extensions of the highest quality. Following a return to the North East, Lynsey established Elliott Architects Ltd with Ben in 2014.
