We are over the moon to have been shortlisted for the RIBA North East Awards 2024 for our Percy Cottage project in Morpeth, Northumberland. Many thanks to the RIBA shortlisting panel, and congratulations to the other shortlisted projects.
This is a fantastic achievement so a big thank you to everyone involved, with special mentions for JCC who helped make our challenging design work, DP Builders who as always applied their craftsmanship, Luke Arend for a fabulous garden and our very own Alex who was led the project and gave it our usual blood sweat and tears!
The project consists of two pavilions flanking a grade II listed house on a challenging site. Each element took a contrasting approach whilst maintaining a harmonious design with a glass pavilion garden room to the south and a timber bedroom wing to the north.
Of course the biggest thanks go to Ben and Ally who believed in us, challenged us, and gave us the chance to achieve a remarkable project.
