Set on high ground overlooking the North Tyne Valley, the project stands on the site of an old Gamekeepers Cottage. Project due to start on site spring 2026.
The site occupies a small back land site in a conservation area, and carefully navigates the constraints whilst achieving a high quality design, making a positive contribution to the heritage context. The design is largely single storey, with a central ‘butterfly roof’ volume giving greater proportion to the main interior space and housing a raised mezzanine snug. Planning permission was granted for this project in late 2025.
Set on the outskirts of a conservation area, the project provides an accessible family home, designed around a courtyard and influenced by the local farmsteads and barns. Due on site spring 2026
Historic Hall on the Northumberland coast – the project converts the existing hall into a series of apartments, along with the conversion, replacement and new builds on site to create bespoke new dwellings. Ongoing on site in 2026.
The house responds to the rural setting to create a new family home on a farmstead in Northumberland. Due to finish 2026.
on the outskirts of a village and bordering a conservation area and open countryside, this new build house on a greenfield site is inspired by the surrounding landscape and views towards the Pennines in the heart of the Eden Valley. Ongoing on site in 2026.
Set in a conservation area in Northumberland, the design consists of two modest scale volumes to sit low in the sloping site, making good use of the views over the surrounding fields and its southerly orientation.
