This scheme included the re-model and extension of an existing dated, single storey conversion. The original conversion was undertaken in the 1980’s and the cellular accommodation had little relationship with the beautiful South facing gardens and elevated views.

We installed a 2.7m extension to the entire South and West return Elevations, this additional space allowed us to give this family house the supporting accommodation it required (porch; utility; WC; study etc.) as well as permitting larger, better proportioned primary spaces.

The plan is entered via a porch and reception area leading into a large kitchen, living, dining room; this room is the heart of the house and divides the plan into two wings, the formal public rooms to the North and bedroom wing to the South.

The newly formed elevations have full height glazing to each room maintaining the desired visual and physical connection with the garden.
