The project develops two new small pavilion extensions to two sides of the existing grade II listed building. To the north there is a small bedroom wing which looks south towards the river; again separated from the house with a glazed link this element uses timber to create a lightness in a very private position.

To the south of the house the design creates a transparent space looking south, and is separated from the existing building by a glazed link so the historic facade can still be seen. The space sits behind a garden wall to the east, largely hidden from public view and forms a new entrance to the property along with contemporary living spaces to compliment the historic house.
