Clydesdale house sits on the edge of a pretty village in Northumberland. Set back from the main street, the house is located in conservation area which meant a sensitive and historically aware approach was necessary.

The scheme remodels the interior to create a light and contemporary space which provides more space and an open plan living solution for the young family. The plot is constrained to the east and west, and so the design pushes slightly north, framing the nearby tree and connecting the space to the wonderful views of the countryside beyond.
