The design draws on the materials and vernacular of the area to create a fun solution to this substantially redesigned home, with additional space provided through a two storey side extension and single storey extension to the rear.
The scheme creates a light open plan space which connects to the garden via an integrated terrace. Externally the form and materials play with the strong black and white palette of the existing house and celebrate the homeliness of the chimney!
