Here are some sketch studies as we develop designs for a housing scheme in Northumberland. All of our work is influenced by the context in which it sits – we feel this is very important to create quality design which sits in harmony with its setting – and for this scheme we are excited to be developing buildings which are more traditional than our usual work – we feel that this could be a sophisticated and subtle solution, but they might well not be entirely traditional……. we also have some ideas for integrating contemporary details and elements into the designs…….. this could be the best of both worlds…………
